8 Week Training Program

Training Information

An 8 Week Training Program is again being offered in coordination with this event. This training is fitness focused and supporting people of all abilities, with a goal of completing a 5K, 10K or Half Marathon at the end of the session. We encourage all ages to sign up for this fun and energetic program! The race directors will host pre-planned training, utilizing the event's race course, on Saturday mornings (9am) and Monday evenings (6pm) beginning on Saturday, March 25, 2017. This 8 week program will culminate in participation in the race on May 20, 2017.

Couch to 5K: $65 through 1/31, $70 through 3/25

Couch to 10K: $70 through 1/31, $75 through 3/25

Any Distance / Any Pace: $90 through 1/31, $95 through 3/25

Couch to 5K or 10K Run/Walk TRAINING ONLY: $40 through 1/31, $45 through 3/25

Any Distance / Any Pace TRAINING ONLY: $50 through 1/31, $55 through 3/25

Signup can be done online and the cost includes registration for the applicable distance in the race. A minimum of 5 registrants is required to kickoff this program. The race directors, and other leaders, will be on hand to run with you, answer questions and prepare you for your event.

New this year, we are offering "Training Only" options. So, if you cannot participate in the race but want to join us for training, we have the solution for you!

So, shake off those winter blues and get moving! Renew those New Years Resolutions! Get more active and complete that first 5K or 10K - or just come run/walk with some friendly (and somewhat crazy) folks. Either way, the race directors will be there to help and encourage you the entire way!
